Cairo. Kuwait's oil minister expects the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries to keep production levels unchanged when it meets in Angola next week, state-run Kuna news agency reports Sunday.
"It is not expected that OPEC will change its strategy regarding output quotas during the next meeting," Kuna quotes Sheik Ahmad Al Sabah as saying.
The minister said Kuwait hadn't received any notification from Royal Dutch Shell PLC that the oil major had pulled out from a planned joint venture refinery project in China with Sinopec.
"We have another investor, there are alternatives," the minister said.
