Buenos Aires. Argentine oil company YPF has said that it plans to import 50 million litres of gasoline as demand outstrips supply in the South American nation.

Uruguay - Brazil’s state-led Petrobras along with YPF and Portugal’s Galp, has signed agreements to explore for oil and gas in offshore areas of Uruguay, part of the South American nation’s efforts to reduce dependence on energy imports.

Rio de Janeiro. This Monday (03/08), Petrobras signed four contracts for the implementation of the Rio de Janeiro Petrochemical Complex (Comperj) in Itaboraí (state of Rio de Janeiro).
