KAZAKHSTAN - Kazakhstan has ceased the construction of oil refineries in Batumi and Ceyhan seaports, Kairgeldy Kabuldin, the KazMunaiGas President, said at a news conference in Astana on December 18.
"The company will define new priorities for making investments taking into account the current global financial crisis", Kabuldin said. One of the priorities of KazMunaiGas is to increase the output volume in Kazakhstan. JSC KazMunaiGas is represented by KasTransOil, an affiliated company, in Batumi.
